You are a prisoner in the mystical laboratory x-29. There was an accident and you have a chance to escape from this place. And it is possible to help other test subjects leave the Laboratory.

W A S D - for movement

Left mouse - for shooting

R - for eat Chicken and heal (With some side effects)

Fun game, but still in progress. I suck at such games and therefore got stuck pretty quickly. (My bad.)

I wished walls would protect the player, as that would make game play more interesting. The chicken was also a bit pointless as I used it once and died anyway, and then it was gone. 

I like the graphics and the way how the text explains things to the player. It took me a while though to notice that it is the mouse I need to click if I want to shoot. Would have expected pressing the space bar instead. (Maybe add this as option?)

The music fits, but would get boring after a while.

Chicken is kind of your ability - you heal to max HP when use it and suffer with one of many side effects.

random thought:

is the reason the chicken heals you because the lab was actually testing this toxin and they found that chickens were immune and they were working on and antidote ?

Pros:

- love the pixel graphics, and also the random changes

- The music feels fitting and so does the ui.

- I also thought the text on the ground was useful without being intrusive or cumbersome ++ :thumbsup:

- the reuse of the splat in different colors it resourseful way to indicate to the player that they've been hit

the thick outline around the player character is really nice :chefs kiss: for both stylistic and practical reasons


Cons:

- lack of valume control

Bugs

I would like to point out if you go to the exit door and decline, all other escapees have the exit prompt appear when you try to save them. 


Notes:

in one of the rooms there are these glass board with notes on them that have enemies behind them and it would be neat if the wall blocked bullets.

also would be cool if the player could find notes in the lab that give bits of lore/context.

another is if the melee crabs could have a little bit of a tell just before or even during their attack.

Fun graphics, fun music. Not a huge fan of the control scheme, but I don't play FPS games.  I like the little text blurbs about features in the rooms!
